Provider: Make sure u f/u with ur pediatrician tomorrow.
Patient: Yes I will be making an appointment first thing in the morning and while at the vet my dog is sick too :(. Thank you.
Provider: Ok good luck and hope she feels better soon.

Patient: hello, my 17 month old now has a fever of 101.7. I don't have any medication here for her age. All I have is ibuprofen for 2-12yrs old. What should I do?
Provider: how much does she weigh???
Patient: Oh gosh I don't remember, I know she's over 20lbs
Provider: u can use one tsp motrin now, and one tsp tylenol in 2 hours to keep fever down. May repeat tylenol in 6 hours and motrin at 8 hours.
Provider: one tsp is 5ml. return to the er if any problems.
Patient: Im at the store all they have is Tylenol from age 2-11
Provider: that is ok...
Patient: All they have is ibuprofen for her age is that ok?
Provider: it is ok, it is time to switch from infant to childrens based on her weight
Patient: Ok thank you.
Provider: no problem.. treat the fever and have her drink fluids as tolerated.
Patient: Yes. I will do that. Thank you

Patient: My pain has gotten worse, and I can't get into a obgyn untilled I see a pcp but I don't have one. The pain meds aren't working.
Provider: Sorry to hear that your pain is worse and you can not get into the Obgyn. We can give you a list of PCPs or you can return to the ER to be treated.

Provider: Did the pharmacy tell you it was too strong? What is the pharmacy name and number?
Patient: Its walgreens and its located at...
Provider: Spoke to pharmacy and they are out of 400 mg chewable tabs. It was changed to 250mg liquid 3 times a day. Please let us know of anything else needed.

Provider: Try tylenol or Motrin for h/a, follow discharge instructions u were given and if concerns persist, call your PCP or return to ER for evaluation.

Patient: He seems to be doing better. Having formula and pedialite. All is staying down. Still having 99-100 temps
Provider: Please continue to follow your discharge instructions. If he does not improve or has new symptoms please have him re-evaluated.
